China Unicom tells me they sold 20 iPhone 5S today in the first 5 hours at their main Shenzhen store. Shenzhen is the smartphone center of the world. iPhone5s $930 iPhone5c $770 in China. Nobody cares at iPhone5s/c launch day here in Shenzhen China. You can buy Android iPhones here for $30, Android is 31 times cheaper than a “real” Apple device! How many Chinese people want to spend 2 months salary for an Apple factory worker (working 65+ hours a week) into buying a new phone?

Qualcomm Toq Smartwatch uses Mirasol display

Qualcomm shows off their new Mirasol for smartwatch prototype, the Qualcomm Toq, they are releasing a few hundred “good yield” smartwatches to some limited amount of people who will be able to order, pre-order it online. Does this mean the Qualcomm Mirasol screen can be mass produced? Qualcomm does say that this smartwatch prototype is only going to be released in a limited amount to a limited amount of people.

Lenovo shows their latest range of 7″ Tablets, here’s the Lenovo S5000, one of the lightest at 247 grams, 7.9mm thick, quad-core MediaTek (MediaTek 8389 in the 3G model, MediaTek MT8125 in the Wi-Fi-only version), with a 1280×800 IPS screen, retailing at 199 Euro retail for WiFi version and 249 Euro for the 3G version.
