ELIX Wireless has developed Magneto Dynamic Coupling (MDC) technology and has been deploying wireless chargers for automobiles. They are in trials with EV companies in China and USA. Their solution uses low frequency, so no heat, no EMI, safe to use, has the ability to work in the rain, can push aside debris. They have built and deployed 7.7KW chargers, these are undergoing trials, the company is also making 3.3KW and 22KW chargers which will be beta tested in 2018.

Interview at IDTechEx show USA 2017 with Joel Pollack, board member at CLEARink, formerly responsible for Amazon Kindle display design at Lab126, also formerly CEO of Clairvoyante (now part of Samsung) and Dr Bob Fleming, CTO for CLEARink. They just won the IDTechEx award for best technical development materials. CLEARink previously won the award at SID for this reflective display technology, it uses Total Internal Reflection (TIR) to create white pixels and electrophoresis to create black pixels using black particles in a solution. Tesla claims the Model X is the safest, fastest and most capable sport utility vehicle in history. It has all-wheel drive and a 100 kWh battery providing 351 miles of range, Model X has ample seating for seven adults and all of their gear.
