DBX shows their latest products. DBX makes phones, tablets and power banks. A 9.7inch Retina display tablet with RK3188 quad-core CPU, 1Gb of RAM and 8Gb of ROM costs around $100 for MOQ 1K. DBX sells around 10K devices per month. A 5200mAh capacity power bank from DBX costs around $4.5. A RK3026 dual-core tablet is sold for $45.

Movon Smart Car-DVR towards Self-Driving Car functionality, and Invehicle Infotainment


Movon makes a PCB module based computer which is primarily designed for in vehicle purposes. The module computer runs an embedded Linux operating system. The processor technology is a Arm Cortex A5 from atmel. Movon’s technology is being used by car companies such as TATA. Movon also does testing for other companies such as Samsung. Movon will in the future be developing a driverless car system.

Astri Smart Table Projector and Smart Glass


The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI)‘s portable interactive surface can carried anywhere and enables you to project a fully function from a variety of different devices such as Android devices. The surface can be as large as 20″. The device received a Hong Kong ICT award for 2014. Astri also makes a headmounted display. Unfortunately the demo is somewhat buggy.

ATION Bluetooth Smartwatches and Android Tablets


Ation makes a variety of smartwatches that connect via bluetooth. The smartwatches sell for 55 USD for 500 pieces. Ation also makes an Android tablet called the BC-312b with a 7″ (800×480 or 1024×600) display, 512 mb of ram, and a Rockchip 3026 processor. The BC-312b sells for under 40 USD. The BC-315 has a 7″ (1024×600), 512mb or 1gb ram, MTK 8312 processor, and dual sim 3g functionality with phone calling. Ation sells about 100,000 tablets a month.

AAPPAA is a Shenzhen based technology company founded in 2005 that makes mobile devices and accessories. AAPPAA makes 300,000 phones per month and employs 200 people in their factory. AAPPAA’s main market is south Africa. AAPPAA makes a quad core MTK 6582 5″ QHd (960×540) smartphone called the MB-501. The MB-501 costs 96 USD for 3,000 pieces. AAPPAA also makes the MB-500 a quad core MTK 6582 5″ QHD (960×540) smartphone. The MB-500 features a different design and sells for 84 USD for 3,000 pieces. AAPPAA makes a low end 6″ WVGA (800×480) phablet called the MID-600 with a dual core MTK 6572. The MID-600 sells for 62 USD for 1,000 pieces.

Onyx Boox T68 1440×1080 Android E Ink E-reader


Onyx showing their new e-readers line called Boox. The new Boox readers come in different screen sizes. One of them has 6.8″ e-ink display with 1440 x 1080 resolution, is powered by Freescale i.MX6 and runs Android 4.0. Another one has a 9.7″ e-ink display with 1200 x 825 resolution that runs Android 4.0.

Zhengfang is a ShenZhen-based company that makes smart wearables like smartwatches, smartbracelets and other products like power banks. An interesting bluetooth bracelet can get connected with a phone and can be used to manage phone calls and get other information right from the bracelet. It vibrates and plays sound when the phone receives phone call. This device costs $28. Another product is a smart watch that costs around $32 and offers a remote camera capturing function that allows recording videos or capturing photos right from the watch. A smartwatch that offers 2G connectivity, SD card memory slot, powered by Mediatek chipset and running some proprietary operating system, costs $74. They have planned on making android smartwatches soon.

The Netchef is a kitchen recipe reader developed by Sungale that is powered by Android, features a 1024×768 8inch touchscreen and is powered by a dual-core CPU. Netchef costs $128 for wholesale and $269 retail price. This kitchen cooking companion comes preloaded with over 500 recipes and has 4GB of internal memory and up to 32GB of external expansion memory ability that can be used to store your own recipes, pictures and videos. Sungale Android tablet with dual-core RK3066 and 7inch IPS display costs $59. Sungale also makes Smart TV Boxes, Android Tablets, Power Banks, Bluetooth Speakers, Wifi Digital Photo Frames and other products.

7″ A23 for $42 and other from Dafong


Dafong is a Chinese company that makes Android tablets. These Android tablet are primarly powered by Allwinner, Rockchip and Mediatek chipsets. A 7inch Allwinner A23 tablet costs around $42. Android tablet with 7.85inch 1024 x 768 resolution IPS screen and supposedly powered by Intel chipset costs around $86. Another new tablet from Dafong has 7.85inch 1024 x 768 resolution IPS screen and Allwinner A31S quad-core CPU. For prices and availability you have to contact Dafong. Dafong factory has more than 350 workers and they sell around 200K units per month.
