Onyx International is developing their new E Ink Smartwatch, with steps counter, Bluetooth interactions with the Smartphone, GPS functions, waterproof and more.
To be ready for mass production from early November, Homido is a french/chinese company making a Virtual Reality Headset in which you can put any smartphone from 4″ to 5.7″, with 5″ being the optimum size they say see http://homido.com/compatibility/ The retail price is to be about $89/69€. The optics are from Taiwan they offer different lenses and a comfort adjustment. They will try to catch the Christmas season, they include 360 video playback software for Android and iOS, and some of the 360 video recording solutions such as the 3D Heroes adapter for 6 GoPros and other cheaper solutions doing it for cheaper.

Rockchip XMM6321 is the XG632 dual-core ARM Cortex-A5 chip with the AG620 baseband chip from Intel’s Infineon division making ARM with Rockchip for an entry level 3G 2-chip solution, for sub-$30 entry level 3G Rockchip phones, sub-$40 entry level 3G Rockchip Tablets, the 3G baseband part supplied by Intel and this ARM Processor manufactured in Intel’s Fab in 28nm (I think perhaps it’s designed by Rockchip with Intel’s baseband and made at TSMC). Rockchip also designs a 4G LTE module for RK3288 with the Ericsson LM80x. Comming soon before the end of the year will also be One-chip ARM solutions by Rockchip made by Intel with on-die LTE support based on Intel’s Sofia baseband.
Google promotes their advertising solutions at HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2014, they talk about how they work with partners that support Adword campaigns, support industry to make better ads on Google.
DBX shows their latest products. DBX makes phones, tablets and power banks. A 9.7inch Retina display tablet with RK3188 quad-core CPU, 1Gb of RAM and 8Gb of ROM costs around $100 for MOQ 1K. DBX sells around 10K devices per month. A 5200mAh capacity power bank from DBX costs around $4.5. A RK3026 dual-core tablet is sold for $45.

An Android gaming tablet with custom-built key buttons around the casing specially built for gaming features a 7inch 1280×800 resolution display, 1Gb of RAM and an Actions 7021 dual-core CPU costs around $50 for MOQ 1K. A tablet with 7.95inch display and a MTK8382 quad-core CPU costs around $110. A 7inch 3G tablet with MTK8312 dual-core CPU costs around $60.
Movon makes a PCB module based computer which is primarily designed for in vehicle purposes. The module computer runs an embedded Linux operating system. The processor technology is a Arm Cortex A5 from atmel. Movon’s technology is being used by car companies such as TATA. Movon also does testing for other companies such as Samsung. Movon will in the future be developing a driverless car system.

The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI)‘s portable interactive surface can carried anywhere and enables you to project a fully function from a variety of different devices such as Android devices. The surface can be as large as 20″. The device received a Hong Kong ICT award for 2014. Astri also makes a headmounted display. Unfortunately the demo is somewhat buggy.

Ation makes a variety of smartwatches that connect via bluetooth. The smartwatches sell for 55 USD for 500 pieces. Ation also makes an Android tablet called the BC-312b with a 7″ (800×480 or 1024×600) display, 512 mb of ram, and a Rockchip 3026 processor. The BC-312b sells for under 40 USD. The BC-315 has a 7″ (1024×600), 512mb or 1gb ram, MTK 8312 processor, and dual sim 3g functionality with phone calling. Ation sells about 100,000 tablets a month.
