At InfoComm 2026, View Sonic showcased its latest direct-view LED (DVLED) display systems, highlighting advancements in image quality, form factors, and integration options for commercial and high-end residential installations. Solutions engineer Scott Camp detailed three distinct models tailored for different deployment environments, starting with the flagship LDP163. This 163-inch 4K display utilizes Micro LED in Package (MIP) technology to achieve high contrast, enhanced energy efficiency, and a tight 0.9 mm pixel pitch.

HDMI® Technology is the foundation for the worldwide ecosystem of HDMI-connected devices; integrated with displays, set-top boxes, laptops, audio video receivers and other product types. Because of this global usage, manufacturers, resellers, integrators and consumers must be assured that their HDMI® products work seamlessly together and deliver the best possible performance by sourcing products from licensed HDMI Adopters or authorized resellers. For HDMI Cables, consumers can look for the official HDMI® Cable Certification Labels on packaging. Innovation continues with the latest HDMI 2.2 Specification that supports higher 96Gbps bandwidth and next-gen HDMI Fixed Rate Link technology to provide optimal audio and video for a wide range of device applications. Higher resolutions and refresh rates are supported, including up to 12K@120 and 16K@60. Additionally, more high-quality options are supported, including uncompressed full chroma formats such as 8K@60/4:4:4 and 4K@240/4:4:4 at 10-bit and 12-bit color.

The LDP163 operates as an all-in-one system, incorporating a custom processor, detachable control box, and integrated speaker bar. The hardware configuration supports four HDMI ports and runs on an Android Open Source Project (AOSP) platform, enabling standalone application execution and picture-by-picture layout configurations for up to four source quadrants. With a peak brightness exceeding 800 nits, high dynamic range (HDR) support, and a refresh rate of 3,840 Hz, the display target includes premium presentation environments and critical viewing applications.
For projects requiring a more streamlined or budget-conscious installation, View Sonic presented the LDE136. This 136-inch Full HD (1920×1080) display is designed without an external control bar or built-in operating system, allowing it to mount completely flush to the wall. All processing boards, power components, and inputs (including two HDMI ports) are integrated directly behind the display face. Delivering approximately 600 nits of brightness, the LDE136 is optimized for environments with existing audio and control systems where redundant hardware is unnecessary.
Both the LDP163 and LDE136 feature modular tiles designed for simplified field serviceability. The individual LED panels attach magnetically to the frame using a single central connector and can be removed from the front using a specialized suction cup tool. View Sonic displays ship with five percent spare tiles, which are factory-calibrated for brightness and color uniformity to eliminate the need for manual calibration after a replacement. The tiles utilize a glue-on-board (GOB) protective epoxy coating to provide physical durability (IK rating) and dust/water protection (IP rating).
Additionally, the exhibition featured a fourth-generation 136-inch mobile LED display system. This transportable solution features a patented folding hinge mechanism that allows the side wings of the display to fold inward. Mounted on a motorized height-adjustable stand, the entire assembly can be lowered to pass through standard door frames. Designed for rental and event staging applications, the system includes a heavy-duty flight case and can be fully deployed or packed by two people in approximately ten minutes.
