I have arrived in Hong Kong to video-blog extensively here at the HKTDC fair the whole week and then 5 days in Shenzhen from 17-22nd October.
I’ll look for awesome new Rockchip RK3066, new 28nm RK3100 series, Allwinner Quad-core, MediaTek MT6577, MT6589 Quad-core, i.MX6 Quad-core, new ST-Ericsson, Renesas, VIA and much more.

$69 i.MX6 Wandboard development board

http://wandboard.org is launching this new $69 (single-core) and $89 (dual-core, with wifi/bluetooth) Freescale i.MX6 Solo/Dual based ARM Cortex-A9 development board. They say they start shipping around the middle of November. No word yet if there’s going to be a quad-core i.MX6 Quad version also.

Qualcomm releases quad-core ARM Cortex-A5 in MSM8225Q and MSM8625Q
Qualcomm announces their new entry-level 45nm ARM SoC for entry-level smartphones, it features a quad-core ARM Cortex-A5 design, with Adreno 203 GPU, DDR2 support, up to 1280×720 resolution smartphone screens support. It’s sampling in Q4 2012 and is to be shipped in entry-level smartphones starting in Q1 2013, the MSM8225Q is for HSDPA and the MSM8625Q is for CDMA.
