Ampeq Android Bluetooth Sound Pad integrates 7″ $55 tablet

Ampeq makes a Bluetooth speaker with a Rockchip 2928 Android tablet attached to it, they call the bluetooth-android-SoundPad and it can play music through bluetooth. The price of the bluetooth-android-soundpad is 95 USD for 1,000 pieces. The SoundPad also features a remote control. Ampeq is currently developing a dual core version of its SoundPad. Ampeq also makes conventional tablets as well such as a 7″ tablet for 55 USD for 1,000 pieces. Ampeq sells around 200,000 tablets per month.

(I had a problem in the last day and a half, my Intel Powered ultrabook has crashed and burnt a 4th time in the last 18 months I’ve used it, it doesn’t boot up anymore, now I’m borrowing a laptop while I also just gave away my 11-month old Samsung ARM Chromebook last week (bad timing) as I’d like to buy a new one later this month, Exynos5420 Powered Chromebook would have been best but another Exynos5250 Powered HP Chromebook 11 will do if nothing else gets released before).

They make phablets powered by the the MTK6589T process in 5.7″ (150 USD), 6.0″ (150 USD), and 6.5″ (various configurations for around 200 USD), the prices are in bulk not individual. U-force also produces dual sim or tri sim Android devices with the MTK6572 platform for around 105 USD. U-force also makes an unspecified keyboard device not running Android using the MTK 6520 platform.
