The company introduced the Mini-Raiden, a new docking station designed to match the Mac Mini form factor and expand its available interfaces. The Mini-Raiden includes two USB-A ports, SD and Micro SD card slots, a DisplayPort video output, and an audio speaker port. For integrated storage, the dock features a built-in M.2 NVMe slot supporting capacities up to 16TB and achieving data read speeds of up to 6,000 MB/s.
For photographers and studio professionals, the Mini-Raiden Pro model adds specialized high-bandwidth connectivity and media ingestion. It features a CFexpress Type B card slot that supports speeds up to 3,700 MB/s, alongside an internal M.2 NVMe slot and dual Thunderbolt ports for daisy-chaining displays and computer systems. The Pro dock also includes software RAID support and a safeguard power feature requiring a three-second hold to prevent accidental shutdowns during critical operations.
The demonstration highlighted advanced storage configurations, including a standalone Thunderbolt 5 SSD achieving read speeds of up to 6,000 MB/s, which can be combined with other readers in a software RAID setup. For users requiring comprehensive connectivity, Atech Flash Technology Blackjet displayed a 17-port Thunderbolt 4 dock featuring multiple USB-C and USB-A ports, card readers, HDMI, DisplayPort, and gigabit Ethernet. The rackmountable 2DS cinema dock was also shown, utilizing a 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 interface to support Sony SxS and CFexpress Type B cards with read speeds of 1,200 MB/s for offloading high-end camera footage.
Additional workflow accessories include single-card USB-C and Thunderbolt readers, as well as a CFexpress Type A to Type B adapter that enables users to read both card formats in a single CFexpress Type B reader.
