The robot navigates using sensors located on its front and sides for obstacle detection and avoidance. It does not use cameras for navigation or data capture. When an obstacle is detected, the unit stops immediately and calculates an alternative path. The robot features both an automatic cleaning mode and a manual mode. The manual mode can be engaged by lifting the control handle, which allows an operator to guide the machine directly to specific areas for spot cleaning.
The cleaning mechanism combines sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping functions into a single pass. It utilizes soft side brushes to gather dust and dry debris from edges and corners, directing it towards the main roller brush underneath the unit. The system captures particulate matter with a replaceable filter. All the components, including the brushes and filters, are designed for easy replacement and maintenance.
According to the company, the waterless cleaning robot is in mass production and has been deployed in over 20 countries, including the USA and various markets in Asia. The system is targeted at facility management in large venues like conference centers and transportation hubs. This demonstration was recorded at the Hong Kong Fairs in April 2026.
