This company is making a bunch of interesting Android tablets, based on the Telechips ARM11 processor, with 1080p video playback support, built-in HDMI outputs, resistive screens for now and cheap prices.

Sony Move

Sony is launching Move as a motion sensing gameplay solution. It functions with a remote that has this color light bulb thing with a camera and Cell processor powered software in the PS3 that monitors where you move the controller and its ball, and thus can register movements into games. Will camera based systems reach the same kind of “magical” feeling in gameplay as the Wii sensors based system does?

Interpad launches 10.1″ capacitive Tegra2 Android tablet for 399€

Interpad is a German brand releasing this 10.1″ capacitive ARM Cortex A9 Tegra2 based Android tablet design for 399€ all over Europe. This tablet design is manufactured by chinese manufacturer Malata as you can see from my Computex video filmed last June: 10 Inch Capacitive Android Tablet by Malata.

PocketBook is the third biggest e-ink e-reader maker and in this press conference they explain how they plan to become the biggest e-reader maker during the next couple of years. At IFA 2010, PocketBook is launching their new series of highly optimized e-readers that are targetted to be sold for good value, pricing and worldwide release will be around October.

iRiver is releasing this new 6″ resistive touch screen based e-ink e-reader. One to be launched at 219€ does not include the WiFi while the 249€ version does include WiFi.

Elonex say they have made their own 1ghz ARM11 processor which they use in this 159 pound 10.1″ resistive tablet with USB host, ethernet (through micro-USB adaptor), WiFi and comes with a fancy 39 pound leather case that includes a USB keyboard.
