Robert Scoble “Age of Context” at LeWeb 2013
The five converging forces promise to change virtually every aspect of our lives. You know them as: mobile, data, sensors and location-based technology. Combined with social media they form a new generation of personalized technology that knows us better than our closest friends. Armed with that knowledge our personal devices can anticipate what we’ll need next and serve us better than a butler or an executive assistant.

Filmed at Filmed at the HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) 2013
Some of my best of HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair picks on the official HKTDC channel
Check me out on the official HKTDC channel showing some of the coolest devices at the HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics fair. Also check back in the many days to come as I’ll publish the more than a hundred videos that I filmed at the Hong Kong fair. Some of my picks include the MediaTek Powered Smartwatches, the Spreadtrum Powered E Ink Android phone, the Rockchip RK3188 Powered HDMI Sticks and Tablets. Check back for all my videos to be posted! (I had a problem in the last day and a half, my Intel Powered ultrabook has crashed and burnt a 4th time in the last 18 months I’ve used it, it doesn’t boot up anymore, now I’m borrowing a laptop while I also just gave away my 11-month old Samsung ARM Chromebook last week (bad timing) as I’d like to buy a new one later this month, Exynos5420 Powered Chromebook would have been best but another Exynos5250 Powered HP Chromebook 11 will do if nothing else gets released before).

Sonostar E Ink Smartwatch prototype
Here’s the latest Sonostar E Ink smartwatch prototype. The Bluetooth 4.0 data connection and E Ink screen seem to be working, now the main challenge I think is going to be app support, how Android is going to send over which data to the E Ink screen, there needs to be a Wearable Computer protocol for Android, one in which things like app notifications, small versions of apps can automatically be sent over to such a smaller display as this E Ink Bluetooth 4.0 smartwatch.
