YufeiAviation presents its S100 personal electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, a single-passenger drone designed for private use on personal property such as farms or large estates. The aircraft’s structure combines an aluminum exoskeleton with a carbon fiber outer shell. The company, based in Guangzhou, China, is currently seeking government certification to operate the S100 as an air taxi for point-to-point transportation, a process estimated to take two to three years. The S100 is available for purchase at a price of 56,000 US dollars.

HDMI® Technology is the foundation for the worldwide ecosystem of HDMI-connected devices; integrated with displays, set-top boxes, laptops, audio video receivers and other product types. Because of this global usage, manufacturers, resellers, integrators and consumers must be assured that their HDMI® products work seamlessly together and deliver the best possible performance by sourcing products from licensed HDMI Adopters or authorized resellers. For HDMI Cables, consumers can look for the official HDMI® Cable Certification Labels on packaging. Innovation continues with the latest HDMI 2.2 Specification that supports higher 96Gbps bandwidth and next-gen HDMI Fixed Rate Link technology to provide optimal audio and video for a wide range of device applications. Higher resolutions and refresh rates are supported, including up to 12K@120 and 16K@60. Additionally, more high-quality options are supported, including uncompressed full chroma formats such as 8K@60/4:4:4 and 4K@240/4:4:4 at 10-bit and 12-bit color.

Performance specifications for the S100 include a flight time of approximately 20 minutes per charge, with a fast-charging system that replenishes the battery in 20 minutes. The aircraft has a maximum speed of 72 kilometers per hour and a maximum flight altitude of 100 meters. The operational range is stated to be up to 30 kilometers. The maximum takeoff weight is 215 kg, which includes the aircraft’s own weight, allowing for a maximum payload of 105 kg for the pilot. The company is actively researching battery technology to increase capacity and extend these performance metrics in future iterations.

Safety features are a key component of the S100’s design. In the event of a single motor failure, the aircraft is programmed to automatically hover and then perform a slow, controlled descent. For more critical failures, such as a loss of power on both sides, the S100 is equipped with a manually-activated parachute system. The company reports that the drone has undergone over 3,000 hours of testing to validate its systems and ensure operational safety. To date, no accidents or major issues have been reported by its international customer base.

The S100 is equipped with two electric motors. Customers can choose between the standard XA-14 motor and the upgraded XA-16 motor, which provides 20% more power output while maintaining the same level of battery consumption. The aircraft also features an air-cooling system for its electronics. For navigation, the S100 utilizes a software-based route control system that allows a user to pre-program a flight path on a map, enabling the aircraft to fly autonomously from a designated point A to point B.

This overview of the YufeiAviation S100 was filmed at the Hong Kong Fairs in April 2026. The company has already delivered units to customers in the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Germany. The primary use case is for personal recreation and transport within the confines of private land, where a pilot’s license is not required in China. The development and sale of such personal aircraft highlight an emerging segment in private aviation and transportation.
