Panasonic Cameras showcased its latest lineup of broadcast and professional camera systems at InfoComm 2026, highlighting a unified hardware and processing architecture. The featured cameras include the AK-UCX100 studio camera, the UBX100 box camera, and the AW-UE160 PTZ camera. These systems share the same image block, image sensor, and Venus 11 image sensor processor (ISP) engine, which enables matching color profiles directly out of the box.

The AK-UCX100 studio camera is built around a large single-MOS sensor and is optimized for high-quality capture, especially in environments utilizing LED volume walls. It is the first studio camera in the industry to incorporate Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) technology, allowing face detection to optimize focusing without manual tracking. For networking, the camera provides dual 25 Gbps SMPTE ST 2110 ports, enabling uncompressed 4K video transport and ST 2022-7 redundancy.

The UBX100 box camera shares the same image sensor and ISP architecture as the studio model. It features the same dual 25 Gbps SMPTE ST 2110 outputs, supporting uncompressed 4K video along with ST 2022-7 path redundancy. During the exhibition, the camera was demonstrated on a Moviecom D1 pan-tilt head and controlled using an RCT panbar system, enabling operators to control the box camera and adjustments in a traditional studio workflow.

The AW-UE160 PTZ camera serves as the top-of-the-line pan-tilt-zoom offering within this product ecosystem. Because it utilizes the same sensor and Venus 11 ISP engine as the studio and box cameras, it provides consistent picture quality and matches color rendering seamlessly with the other models. It also shares the same PDAF technology and a unified web-based graphical user interface (GUI) for remote setup and camera adjustments.

By sharing the same imaging sensor, ISP backend, PDAF capability, and remote web control interface, Panasonic Cameras provides a unified workflow for studio production, remote events, and PTZ integrations. This common platform simplifies multi-camera configuration, color matching, and operation across different product categories in professional video environments.
