At Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025, Unilumin showcased a range of advanced LED display technologies, highlighting their commitment to innovation in visual solutions. A focal point was the introduction of Micro in Package (MIP) technology, which merges the advantages of Surface-Mounted Device (SMD) and Chip-on-Board (COB) methodologies. This integration results in enhanced screen durability, anti-glare properties, and reduced power consumption through a common cathode flip chip design. The MIP technology also offers superior contrast ratios and improved grayscale performance at low light levels.

Unilumin’s U Shield technology was another highlight, designed to increase screen durability by making displays five times more impact-resistant. By eliminating the traditional mask from the screen, U Shield enhances viewing angles, color dispersion, and brightness, leading to a more robust and high-performing display solution.

In professional-grade applications such as virtual production, broadcast, and control rooms, Unilumin presented MIP-based displays with a pixel pitch of 1.2 mm. These displays feature anti-reflection and anti-blue light layers to reduce eye fatigue during prolonged viewing. The design includes a larger gap between pixel packages, resulting in deeper blacks, better contrast ratios, and improved color consistency across the screen.

For applications requiring finer detail, Unilumin showcased a 0.7 mm pixel pitch MIP display. Despite its high brightness, the display remains cool to the touch, indicating efficient thermal management and energy efficiency. Additionally, a prototype 0.4 mm pixel pitch micro LED display was unveiled, with plans to develop a 0.3 mm version by the end of Q1. These advancements enable achieving 4K resolution in smaller display sizes.

The UTV SC Series was also featured, with the 135-inch Pro model utilizing U Mini 3 Pro panels to deliver higher contrast and brightness levels. With a 0.7 mm micro LED display, this series allows for direct connection to the onboard video controller, bypassing the Android operating system. The modular design enables seamless splicing of multiple screens to create larger displays, such as a 329-inch configuration.

In the realm of digital signage, Unilumin introduced the Uslim S2, a dual-sided signage product featuring two independent screens within a single chassis. Each side can operate at different brightness levels and display distinct content, making it ideal for retail window applications where varying display requirements are needed for interior and exterior viewing.

The Udesign SV transparent screen was another innovative product on display, offering 93% transparency, high brightness, and an ultra-lightweight design. With a contrast ratio of 9,000:1 and 16-bit grayscale processing, it delivers vivid colors and is suitable for applications in shop windows, immersive experience centers, and other environments where both transparency and high visual quality are desired.

A standout introduction was the Unatural series, which combines chip-on-board technology with a new surface treatment to transform LED panels into interior design materials. When powered off, the display mimics materials like wood veneer or marble, seamlessly blending into its environment. When powered on, it functions as a high-definition display. This customizable solution allows for bespoke designs, enabling the screen to complement the aesthetic of various spaces, including high-end commercial areas, art galleries, and museums.

Unilumin’s presence at ISE 2025 underscored their position as a leading LED display manufacturer, offering a diverse range of products across various categories and price points. Their extensive product lineup and commitment to innovation cater to a wide array of applications, from professional displays to retail signage and architectural integration.
