Emily co-founder at Frameo, a Danish company providing a Wi-Fi photo frames platform, discuss the company’s unique software and its partnerships with various factories. Frameo’s software allows users to send photos directly from their smartphone app to these frames, connecting family members and friends across distances. Frameo primarily works with Chinese manufacturing partners who, in turn, distribute their frames to brands worldwide, with a strong presence in the US and Europe.

The software, compatible with both Android and iOS devices, boasts over 6 million downloads and a 4.9-star rating on app stores. It’s designed for user-friendliness, allowing users to easily select and send photos to their Frameo-equipped frames. These frames come in various designs and sizes, depending on the brand’s preferences. They also offer features such as motion sensors and sleep mode to conserve energy.

While some competitors offer frames with video chat capabilities, Frameo remains focused on simplicity and the core feature of sharing photos and videos. Frameo’s team in Denmark is dedicated to optimizing the software for stability and security, ensuring that the frames are safe to use and tested for quality.

During the interview, Frameo discusses the potential for adding more functionality, such as video conferencing, but emphasizes the importance of maintaining a user-friendly experience. Frameo’s current approach centers on responding to user feedback and enhancing the simplicity of their product.
