Hivision which I filmed in my very popular video from IFA 2008 have worked very hard to port Android to their latest ARM9 500mhz 7″ mini Laptops. They offer an extremely impressive fast and Android integration, with a surprisingly fast Android web browser over WIFi and Ethernet. The price for the laptop at retail could be $149, more or less, it depends on the distributors.
They borrowed me their 7″ Android Laptop for the next few days. I am very impressed with the speed of web browsing on this device. I will do an extensive video review one of these next few days, especially showing you the web browsing speed considering this version of Android is not even yet optimized by Google for Laptop form factors.
Sling releases a new interesting type of Slingbox that connects to existing USB host port on DVRs and then enables to encode the TV channels and broadcast them in real-time over the Internet upload connection onto a Sling Player that the user would have on the Internet.
It has about the same features as the Nexus One, a 3.7″ AMOLED capacitative touch screen, a 1ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. But this one runs a customized Android user interface for the Chinese market instead of running the full Google Experience. It should be sold at below $300 unlocked in China when it is released.

3.7″ WVGA Texas Instruments OMAP3 Android smart phone by Motorola. Also comes with dual CDMA and GSM sim card reader. It is probably one of the worlds first phones with a mini-HDMI output and bother 720p camcorder and 720p video playback support. I should be able to stream Youtube in 720p quality onto a HDTV as well.
