Freescale shows i.MX6 for auto/aero-infotainment with long term support
Freescale is showing the next generation i.MX6 ARM Cortex-A9 based in-car infotainment system. Freescale promises to provide 15 years of support for the chip, meaning that car manufacturers can feel confident using the i.MX6 in cars and airplanes, as it takes multiple years to make those, Freescale promises to still manufacture the same processor 15 years from now. They optimize features for cars such as using sensors and cameras for better car safety. Freescale is a global leader in producing processors used in cars.

Motorola Kopin Golden-i at the Verizon booth at CES 2012
The Motorola Kopin Golden-i is being showcased at the Verizon booth at CES 2012, demonstrating hands-free wearable computing user interfaces for Industrial uses such as Construction, Medical, Public safety, Utilities and more. I’ve been using this for the past 2 months to attempt to have a wearable computing augmented video-blogging system, using Google+ Hangouts On Air with the headmounted display showing a live chat and live status updates from Google+, Twitter, Email alerts and more.

It has a large solar panel, an e Ink display, Bluetooth support. Basically, if you want to party in the sun on the beach, in the park, bring this, you don’t need to charge it, it might last the whole day blasting out loud music, all run on solar power and with an E Ink display to navigate through songs, tune into different web radios and do other functionality.
