Vido M11Pro on RK3288 with iPad Air display with 9000mAh battery, Tablets on MediaTek and some of Vido’s Intel tablets that dual-boot Android and Windows 8.1.
ACT is one of the first factories to be starting mass production of the new $30 Smartphone on Dual-core ARM Cortex-A5 with 3G Infineon baseband made by Rockchip and Intel at TSMC. ACT Industrial makes about 10 thousand tablets per day, they can ramp that up as they plan to start the Rockchip XMM6321 entry-level Smartphone production here in the next week.

Pipo shows their latest RK3288 tablets including the new Pipo P1+ with thinner lighter Retina iPad Air display and more compact form factor with 9,800mAh battery and MHL for 4K output and UltraStick for optional 3G/4G support. Pipo also shows their new 11.6″ FHD Tablet. Pipo also shows their new glasses free 3D Tablet with a quite amazing system that follows your eyes using the front facing camera to adjust the glasses free 3D effect to however far one person is looking at it when it’s displaying 3D content. They also have 4G LTE on 10.1″ MediaTek MT6592+MT6290 dual chip LTE. Pipo also shows some Marvell PXA1L88 Quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 LTE Phablets at 7″ and 6″ size. Then Pipo does Intel 7″, 8″, 8.9″ and 10.1″ running Windows 8.
Running Intel Celeron with Windows 8, the price is about $250 for 500 units. They can also use the Intel Core-i3/5/7 processors starting at $390. Weight is 1.4Kg, battery life is about 4-5 hours, they also have 10.1″ and 11.6″ Windows Tablets starting at $310. They sell about 10K laptops per month.
Ramos shows the first Exynos5260 Hexa Core (two ARM Cortex-A15 and four ARM Cortex-A7) Tablet Ramos X80 for $160 (in bulk), with more than 10hr battery life on 8″ FHD, 3G option, they have blue, yellow and black. 9.7″ S97 Exynos5260 Hexa Core to be on the market by the end of November. $170 Ramos K100 is MT6592 10.1″ FHD. Ramos sells their brand in China and most of their overseas sales are with OEM brand partners. Ramos works a lot with Intel doing a 7″ with 4500mAh, supports Windows or Android sold at $80 (probably with Intel’s subsidies). Ramos sells more than 100 thousand tablets per month. ICOO presents their cheapest tablets, starting at $24.9 for 10K order with RK3126 quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 and $29.9 for dual-core MediaTek based 3G tablets (their website says it might be the old MT6577) Both are with 512MB of RAM, 1GB RAM costs $4 more. $45 for 9″, $47 for 10.1″ with RK3026 dual-core ARM Cortex-A9. Rockchip XMM6321 is the XG632 dual-core ARM Cortex-A5 chip with the AG620 baseband chip from Intel’s Infineon division making ARM with Rockchip for an entry level 3G 2-chip solution, for sub-$30 entry level 3G Rockchip phones, sub-$40 entry level 3G Rockchip Tablets, the 3G baseband part supplied by Intel and this ARM Processor manufactured in Intel’s Fab in 28nm (I think perhaps it’s designed by Rockchip with Intel’s baseband and made at TSMC). Rockchip also designs a 4G LTE module for RK3288 with the Ericsson LM80x. Comming soon before the end of the year will also be One-chip ARM solutions by Rockchip made by Intel with on-die LTE support based on Intel’s Sofia baseband.
Toshiba releases their 13.3″ FHD Glossy 4GB RAM at $349/349€ and HD Matte 2GB RAM $249/249€ Chromebooks, based on Intel Celeron processors, they are thinner, 200gr lighter, better designed and with a battery life of 9hr for the FHD and 11.5hr for the HD one, where Google says the battery life can be enhanced even further with software update.
Altera talks about their upcoming ARM solution made at the Intel Fab using Intel’s 14nm Tri-Gate technology, it’s the Altera Stratix10 FPGA delivering 2x core performance increase over previous FPGA solutions, 70% power savings using the 64bit quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor design, 3D-capable for integrating SRAM, DRAM ASIC, all manufactured on Intel’s 14nm Tri-Gate Fab. Chuwi showing their latest products. A 7inch 1280×800 resolution, MTK8382 quad-core, 1Gb of RAM and with 3G costs $99 for MOQ 1K. This tablet is dual-SIM 3G with Micro-SIM and Mini-SIM slots. They are also showing some Rockchip 10.1inch Retina display tablets and some Intel Atom powered tablets. Chuwi VX5 has a 8inch 1280×800 resolution display, MTK8382 quad-core, 1Gb of RAM and with dual-SIM 3G costs $105 for MOQ 1K. There are also some 4G LTE tablets introduced at Chuwi.

Tour at the Ramos offices in Shenzhen Hi-Tech Park area. Here they have their engineers, sales, marketing and management departments, while their factory is at another part of Shenzhen (at which I may film later). Ramos shows their Exynos5260 Hexacore based tablet, as well as some MediaTek and Intel based tablets.
Crave shows their latest range of smartphones and tablets. One of their 3G smartphones has a 6.95″ 1280×1000 resolution display and is powered by a MTK quad-core CPU. A 10.1″ tablet with MTK octa-core CPU and dual sim 3G built-in is also one of their new products. They are launching a new line of Intel-powered tablets and a kid’s line with different case colors and kid’s software Crave is based in Shenzhen, China and produce around 200k units per month.
Asus shows their $1200 laptop/tablet/phone combination device, with an Intel processor in the Phone (with LTE support) and another Intel processor in the Tablet, with a keyboard dock. They say battery life is fine, we’ll see about that. Price I think is around $1200 or $1300, since they say it costs something like a $1000 laptop + their zenphone. Asus has been showing a lot of Intel devices for many years, but I don’t think they have been selling many.
Akstron shows their Rockchip and Intel tablets, $103 educational tablet, $48 7″ kid tablet, $55 MT6572 smartwatch. Akstron sells more than 200K units per month.

Dafong is a Chinese company that makes Android tablets. These Android tablet are primarly powered by Allwinner, Rockchip and Mediatek chipsets. A 7inch Allwinner A23 tablet costs around $42. Android tablet with 7.85inch 1024 x 768 resolution IPS screen and supposedly powered by Intel chipset costs around $86. Another new tablet from Dafong has 7.85inch 1024 x 768 resolution IPS screen and Allwinner A31S quad-core CPU. For prices and availability you have to contact Dafong. Dafong factory has more than 350 workers and they sell around 200K units per month.
