At Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025, Look2Innovate showcased their latest advancements in audio guide technology, emphasizing their commitment to enhancing visitor experiences through innovative solutions. A highlight of their presentation was the directional speaker, designed to project sound in a focused 10-degree beam, ensuring that only individuals directly in front of the speaker can hear the audio. This technology is particularly beneficial in environments like museums or exhibitions, where it’s essential to deliver specific audio content without causing ambient noise pollution.

An intriguing application of this directional audio technology was implemented in Belgian gas stations. Patrons using the restroom would hear a subtle reminder, such as, “Don’t forget to use your ticket to buy something at the store,” while washing their hands. This approach not only enhances customer engagement but also promotes in-store sales without intruding upon the overall ambiance.
In addition to the directional speakers, Look2Innovate introduced their “Style” audio guide system, a versatile device tailored for museums and exhibitions. The Style unit offers multiple synchronization methods, including point-and-click, infrared (IR), and radio frequency (RF) triggers, allowing seamless integration with external multimedia displays. Visitors can select their preferred language and synchronize the audio guide with specific exhibits, ensuring a personalized and immersive experience. The device’s lightweight design, approximately 100 grams, ensures user comfort during extended use.
For hands-free tours, Look2Innovate unveiled an all-in-one audio guide headset. This device automatically synchronizes with exhibits as visitors move through different zones, utilizing small IR emitters or RF-triggered boxes discreetly placed throughout the venue. Such technology ensures that audio content is contextually relevant, enhancing the educational value of the visit without requiring manual input from the user.
Looking ahead, Look2Innovate is exploring the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into their audio guide systems. The vision is to develop AI-driven tours that adapt in real-time to the visitor’s location and interests, potentially generating personalized video sequences and narratives. This forward-thinking approach aims to transform static exhibits into dynamic, interactive experiences that cater to individual preferences.
With over three decades of experience, Look2Innovate continues to be a leader in the audio guide industry, providing tailored solutions that blend cutting-edge technology with user-centric design. Their commitment to innovation ensures that cultural institutions can offer visitors engaging and informative experiences, setting new standards for interactive learning and entertainment.
