At ISE 2025, Basalte Sales and Marketing Director, Tom Samin, introduced Adelante, a luxury door station tailored for high-end residential applications. This modular system features multiple cameras, including a wide-angle security camera and a FaceTime camera, ensuring comprehensive surveillance and seamless communication. Adelante integrates fully with Basalte Home, offering versatile installation options such as freestanding poles or semi-recessed wall mounts. The doorbell, activated by pressing the diamond-shaped ring, utilizes the FaceTime camera to capture visitors at the entrance, transmitting live footage to the homeowner’s interior display for enhanced security. Access methods include a badge reader and a PIN code entry system, providing flexible and secure home entry solutions. The system operates via Power over Ethernet (PoE) and requires a Cat 6 cable for connectivity.

Basalte also showcased their Aalto F5 speakers, which deliver high-fidelity audio through a combination of 400-watt bass, 200-watt midrange, and 200-watt tweeter outputs. Encased in designs featuring fabrics from Danish brands Kvadrat and Gabriel, these speakers are complemented by the Atlas TV stand, designed for optimal cable management and aesthetic integration with LG televisions.
The Rondo collection was another highlight, presenting a series of in-wall speakers with various finishes, including polished aluminum, brass, and white, as well as fabric options matching those of the Aalto F5 speakers. This setup comprises four passive, full-range speakers that can be installed in walls or ceilings, offering flexibility for interior designers aiming to integrate high-quality audio discreetly into living spaces.
In terms of home control interfaces, Basalte introduced Ellie, a touch-sensitive light switch that aligns with their keypad and step light designs. This multi-touch device allows users to control lighting with simple gestures. Additionally, the Lena touch display, featuring a 10.2-inch screen, provides comprehensive home control through a user-friendly interface. Users can manage various aspects of their home environment, including lighting, temperature, and music selection, all from a centralized location.
Basalte’s system architecture is built around their proprietary Core servers, such as the Core Mini and Core Plus. These servers manage the integration of devices like the Adelante door station and touch displays, ensuring seamless operation across the home automation ecosystem. The Core Plus server, in particular, supports multi-room audio distribution, enhancing the home’s entertainment capabilities.
To facilitate integration with various home systems, Basalte offers hardware devices like amplifiers and IP gateways, including Modbus and DMX interfaces. These components simplify the connection of DALI lighting systems and other devices to Basalte’s software platform, streamlining the installation process for system integrators.
For professionals seeking in-depth knowledge, Basalte provides resources such as the Genius Desk, where system integrators can explore programming software and hardware configurations. This support structure underscores Basalte’s commitment to combining design elegance with technological sophistication in the realm of smart home solutions.
