At ISE 2025 in Barcelona, NovaStar showcased its latest advancements in LED display technology. A highlight was their AV over IP solution, featuring an encoder and decoder system capable of handling H.265 streams and the proprietary NovaSync protocol. This setup supports up to 32 layer-free layouts, ensuring seamless, low-latency transmission with a mere 2-millisecond delay, imperceptible to the human eye. The system delivers 4K resolution at 10-bit color depth with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, making it ideal for control rooms and system management applications

NovaStar also introduced the H Series, an all-in-one product that receives signals via the internet or through a fiber connection from a layer three switcher. This system outputs directly to LED panels, maintaining minimal latency. Demonstrations highlighted the synchronization between HDMI inputs and decoder outputs, emphasizing the system’s efficiency in real-time applications.
For media server solutions, NovaStar presented the H2, SG, and H2V models, which can be integrated into video conferencing setups. The VICP software offers a user-friendly interface, allowing operators to drag and drop video inputs effortlessly. This software also facilitates the control of various devices, including projectors, lighting systems, curtains, and air conditioners, streamlining system integration processes.
The ET1 SG media server, equipped with Compass FX1, enables comprehensive layer management for projects. Users can select different layers and inputs to display content efficiently. This intuitive interface simplifies operations, making it accessible for various applications.
In the realm of digital signage, NovaStar’s cloud-based management system allows users to oversee content across multiple devices. By creating an account on NovaStar’s platform, users can bind their hardware, such as the TU Series, and manage media uploads, monitor hardware status, and ensure content is running smoothly.
The TU Series stands out for its versatility in corporate and home settings. With features like remote control access, compatibility with platforms like Google Chrome, YouTube, and Netflix, and support for AirPlay, users can easily share content from devices like iPhones or MacBooks. The system supports 4K inputs via HDMI 2.0 and offers multiple output ports for LED panels.
Addressing the needs of broadcasting and large-scale productions, NovaStar’s COEX-5G solution simplifies system structures for ultra-high-definition displays. By reducing the number of required cables and extenders, the system enhances reliability and efficiency. However, it’s essential to use compatible receiving cards, such as the CA50 and XA50 Pro models, to fully leverage the 5G capabilities.
For live event production, NovaStar’s PixelH line offers control surfaces like the P2 and U5 Pro. These devices provide intuitive interfaces, allowing operators to select devices, manage inputs and outputs, and control audio matrices. The PixelFlow software complements these hardware solutions, offering offline preset creation and real-time media management, ensuring seamless event execution.
