Sinterit 3D Printer using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

Posted by – September 21, 2015

Konrad Glowacki and Pawel Szczurek from Sinterit at “3D Printing Europe”, part of the IDTechEx Show! Sinterit is a start-up that are building a 3D printer that uses SLS (Selective Laser Sintering), shipping units from December 2015. SLS stands for Selective Laser Sintering: this means spreading layers of nylon 12 powder and sinter nylon particles together using a laser. The technology Sinterit uses is the next step in 3D printing as it makes possible to print objects that were difficult or impossible to be printed with the Fused Deposition Modeling technique.
