There is a mistake. It is 720p webm, not 1080p as HD is the acronym for 720p,while FULL HD is used for 1080p

On the link it says “Texas Instruments has made a video of HD-resolution (1080p) VP8 (WebM) video playing on their new TI OMAP™ 4 processor, in both Android and Ubuntu.”

I think the link is also wrong, the link is not an official TI news and I bet it cannot do 1080p,soc makers are usually very specifics about acronyms.
