$15 Android Computer presented by AllGo systems

AllGo is presenting what may be one of the lowest cost ARM9 i.MX233 based Android device solution. For Tablets, PMPs, intelligent screens. AllGo provides Android software integration on the Freescale processors. The full Tablet with a 7″ WVGA screen and a battery could have a Bill Of Material cost of as low as $35.

    You're doing some great work finding all these gems. Now we can keep our eyes out for cheaper devices. A capacitive screen on this could easily become sub $100 including markup. Imagine?

    Could someone publish the BOM ? The Freescale processor costs $5.5 or so in 10K lots as per their press-release, assuming all other basic electronics/pcb/connectors in another $5 (in 10K lots), it leave $25 for a 7″ WVGA screen… and that's a pretty amazing cost, I am yet to see anywhere.

    Well in the video, he says it's about $15 for the processor and all the other electronics, I think he also says something like $5 for the battery and $15 for the 7″ 800×480 resistive LCD touch screen so $35 Bill of Material for the whole tablet hardware.
