Malata SMB-A1011, 10 Inch Capacitive Android Tablet

This tablet has a nice design, it’s compact and light for a 10″ capacitive Android tablet. It comes with a HDMI output for 1080p video output, USB host ports, is based on the ARM Cortex A9 based Nvidia Tegra 2 processor.

    This is looking great! I'm looking forward to the (rumored) Android 3 UI redesign as the UI is of questionable beauty ;).

    I also hope that google listens to its users and includes GPU acceleration for the UI and browser (smoother scrolling/transitions/etc). You can vote for GPU acceleration here: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=6914

    with such functionalities, around 500 bucks is my expectation.
  • It all depends on how much profit margins the distributor wants to make. If they price it aggressively, I'm thinking it could be sold well below $400, towards $350. Though Malata can't really say as they only sell as the Malata brand in China while other distributors might want to brand it with some brand to sell in Europe and USA.
