* More gfx power available on a PC
* low persistance display (removes smearing)
* higher framerates (76hz in the 2nd prototype, 95hz or more for the first customer version).
* faster tracking
* position tracking with external camera
* more software available (for now).

What vrAse and other adapters like it (Durovis Dive etc) need is phones are are built with VR in mind, i.e. with displays that offer low persistance, higher framerates and with a IMU that provides super low latency tracking. Then the only thing that is missing is the positional tracking. Once phones get faster and the software technology advances, it should be possible to do inside-out tracking on a mobile phone. That’s not possible just yet.
