Yet another dev board with no support for hardware accelerated video drivers for linux.
You have a “ultra-octa” fast procesor on a board that could replace your 70% (maybe, if your not a gamer ) of your PC tasks, and you are confined to android (perhaps).

There a lot of different projects wich suffer from this desease:
* Wandboard
* Cubox-i
* Odroid
* Raxda
* UDOO
* Beagleboard
…. and many others

Why the lack of support from the manufacture of the chip? I think if they fully support Linux on this devices, those would be best-buys (nettop replacement, media players, HTPC’s, and so on).

It seems to be working rather well:

The author of libhybris first made it work on OMAP SoC with PowerVR graphics. It should work with any GPU that has a working Android driver.

It even works on Cubieboard:

Without Linux support this board is USELESS!!! Because PowerVR doesn’t have linux support of ANY kind this board IS WORTHLESS!!!!
