BSI-sensors is not enough for making photography in dusk and in darkness without Flash light

Cam sensors must absorb vawelength in the infrared vawelength spectra, if it shall be possible to photography in dusk and in darkness without Flash light.

American company SiOnyx is a spin-off company from Harvard optical research.
SiOnyx have developed a manufactoring method for making the silicon wafer darker so this darker surface of the silicon chip makes it possible to absorb vawelength in the infrared spectra.

SiOnyx Image Sensor XQE-1310 can detect light down to 1 mLux.

First application will of course be Surveilliance cams but in some years could it also be the smartphone industry so smartphone can photopgraphy without Flash light even in dusk and in darkness.

SiOnyx “black silicon method” is expensive to make.
Danish company Blacksiliconsolar uses Gold acid for making silicon wafers darker.
Same method should be possible to use for making silicon wafers for Imaging sensors with darker surface but much less expensive manufactoring method.
