Have used some of them, used an extra fishing rod to cast the sensor out, great for depth and temperature but fish signals are hard to differentiate between big and small fish, earlier ones didn’t last long as the battery was sealed in but the newer models you can change the batteries, not great for serious fishing unless you just want to know the depth which is what I use it for
