You don’t need Cortex A-15 to produce a smooth computing experience. You can already embed a quad-core RK3166 in a USB stick. It has all the capabilities of a high-end Android tablet/smartphone minus the touch screen.

Which is why the ARM Powered Chromebook is the only PC/Laptop device category that is growing since 2012. Google sold over 5 million ARM Chromebooks in the USA alone since October 2012. Pretty much 95% of enterprises and schools in the USA and in Europe are strongly testing and considering switching all their users over to ARM Powered Chrome OS in the near future, several corporations and schools/universities have already transitioned many of their users over to Chromebooks and are about to make it the default device to use. It’s about security, speed, simplicity and it’s about price and power consumption also. ARM Cortex-A15 can run on HDMI Sticks and you’ll see such ARM Cortex-A15 HDMI Sticks in the near future. Exynos5410 and Exynos5420 based HDMI Sticks are very probable and Tegra4 HDMI Sticks are also likely.

Ahahahahah….This $35 stick is going to be so limited that it won’t even sell. Also ARMv8 and ARM A-15 use too much power to run on a USB stick but Nvidia’s Logan SoC might change that. If this runs Chrome OS better than Samsung’s ARM Chromebook, when Google releases Chromesticks running on ARM Cortex-A15 and ARMv8 and sell those at sub-$50, these are easily going to kill off the Wintel desktop. Easy. Killing simply means people are going to buy Chromesticks instead of Intel x86 powered Windows desktops, and same for Chromebooks instead of Intel x86 powered Windows laptops.
