Let’s forget about the Nexus 4, since I live in Singapore and it is not available. Still, I can buy a real Galaxy S3 locally for $490. Why would I NOT pay an extra $90 for the S3 over this with very real advantages like no shipping issues, local warranty, much better support, modding and accessories? This phone is just too overpriced, end of story.

Don’t get me wrong I’m ain’t here to diss Chinese makers, I even ordered one of their $210 5″ H7500+ MT6589 720P phones. At that price I’m willing to take a risk with Chinese white box makers while having a phone that is ~80% as fast as the s3 at 40% of the cost.

Nexus 4 is not available. People can’t buy it nearly anywhere. And there is ample enough space for thousands of different Android phones on the market, if you want 4.4″ Retina and Exynos4412 as in the Meizu MX2 design, you should have the option for that. This phone is 50% cheaper than the iPhone5 and is arguably better value, so that makes it quite relevant.

This thing doesn’t have a reason to exist when the Nexus 4 is $300.

You see, the problem with Chinese phones these days there too many Samsung/Apple ripoffs at the low end and high-end ones are too expensive compared to the N4. Add sleazy dealers to the mix to make the situation even worse.
