What do you expect? Archos 5 IT came out in the time of Android 1.5 Cupcake, how could any company, be it Archos or Samsung provide such multi-purpose pocket device with perfect firmware functionalities and zero bugs activating tons of new unseen features, all that 3 years before Jelly Bean. You cannot reasonably expect that from any sized company. I think the Archos 5 IT was an awesome product for its time and now Archos’s Jelly Bean devices are also awesome value for the market today.

And Archos is known for their good software support – NOT!

I will never come back to Archos after I felt really butthurt with Archos 5 IT, which was a nice hardware too, but with its software support felt like a scam 🙁

– Will Archos upgrade their products this time (and support Android 4.2+) ?
– What about the batteries ?
