I don’t have any names specifically. But I’m guessing there must be some good accessory makers out there, who could be making mobile covers to battery cases etc.

Many people like me must be looking for some or other kind of accessories manufacturers OEM, ODM or any other.

if you use touchscreen mapping sensitivity should work, but mapping directly to buttons through the emulator’s own settings will not.

I don’t know a whole lot about emulators, but I was using a wii controller with n64oid, and there was no sensitivity. it maybe something with the mapping program I was using though.

Can you let me know if there is an N64 emulator that supports walking for when you for example use a Bluetooth game controller that supports such sensitive input? I’ll test the N64 again, next time using N64oid emulator if they let me test it some more.

Yes it makes sense. The emulator for example plays in full screen as you see when I play star fox 64, but it may be zoomed in even more. I think Archos has implemented Android mods before that allows to go into full screen mode on-demand as Archos was the first to implement on-screen Android home/menu/back buttons a year or two before it became the standard for Android.

Supports MicroSD up to 64GB I think. Thr microusb works as a usb host too. If it can power every 2tb usb powered hard dries I don’t know but all storage, mouse/keyboard even bluetooth controllers, mice, keybpards, headsets wwork.

7″ is the maximum that fits in about 95% of jacket pockets and 98% of lady’s handbags etc. What’s great is that it’s super thin and light for its size. This is going to by my main portable tablet for the months to come. Especially in the winter as I anyways wear my jacket every time I go outside. I don’t usually play much games on my tablets because I’m not a huge fan of touch screen and accelerator gaming. But now with this Archos Gamepad, I think I’ll want to play through some of the top Android games and I’m tempted to spend tons of time re-playing my N64 favorites, perhaps also replaying the awesome SNES games like Yoshi’s Story, Super Mario Kart and more. Dreamcast emulation would be awesome.

Still, 7″ is a bit big for what is supposedly a portable gaming platform.

I take it the button mapping requires modifying Android internals and so can’t be replicated as a downloadable app.

Release date in about a month. Android 4.1 at launch. Dunno about the battery, it’s not removable, the device is impressively thin and light which I think is important for a 7″ device for gaming, hopefully they fit in a good large battery, for years Archos fits insanely huge battery capacity in industry leading thin and light devices, something to do with their overmolded assembly design technology.
