I also got an Jy-G2 phone. It’s great! but I wonder, would anyone know to tell me how to root it? Some apps like screen cast ones to require the device to be rooted..

I think it’s better than the Lenovo. The screen could still be better, but it has really ok viewing angles for such a cheap device and good colors – they say it is IPS, and I’d say that this is true.
The MT6575 performs about as good as a Snapdragon S2 device, and 1GB is good for ICS. Since the latest software update, the Jiayu G2 lasts two days for me easily – always connected. Last but not least: The G2 is about 3mm thinner than the A750.

I think that the ZP100 looks a lot like the HTC EVO 3D – but as that thing is not even remotely as popular as the iPhone or a Galaxy S (I, II, III) this isn’t too bad.
I’ve already got my second MT6575 based phone despite living in Germany (Lenovo A750, Jiayu JY-G2), but I didn’t find the time to blog about the second one at all, which has 1GB of Ram and looks a lot like a SGSII at first glace. However, it looks a lot different at second glance (soft touch plastic back, power button at the top, smaller size, power LED) so it’s not too annoying to run around with that phone.
If you’ve got any questions regarding the JY-G2, just feel free to ask you – answering them should be possible despite my full schedule.

Any updates on where these can be reliably purchased from is always good to hear about – not just vids about the products. So yes, any group buy info or reliable dealers (as you put it) that will ship worldwide is good too.

The thing with these designs is that they are probably odm designs and HTC probably makes products like these and sells them to OEM’s to put a brand name on.

I don't know why some Chinese companies don't want to invest on their mould and their own designs. Software is good and they have a knowledge in mobile business, why they always want to copy other models?

Just think how many Smartphones and tablet pc you had in your report recently from Electronic Fair in both Shenzhen and HongKong.
Not only Zopo ZP100 MT6575 would be something to introduce in europe and US.
Think on all brands you had in your last report from Shenzhen and HongKong Electronic Fairs.
Brands like ZXDmobile,Amoi,LGTD,Hyundai Technologies.
