Obvious April Fools joke, and not particularly funny. First, it’s NOT and NEVER WAS Apple Computers Inc. The original name of the company was Apple Computer, Inc. and is now Apple Inc. There are many other misspellings and grammar errors which would have never EVER have been in an Apple press release. Fail.

I knew it was fake, but just checked to make sure. 😉 One part that was funny was that a search for the two companies’ names together brought up links where people wonder why facebook isn’t integrated with Apple at all, while Twitter is all over their products. So if anything, it would appear Apple would buy Twitter before Facebook.
