 I don’t know.  Isn’t the other Pierre Cardin company sells clothing and accessories and nothing to do with electronics?  It is like Marvel Entertainment company has nothing to do with Marvel Chip company.  So there’s no trademark issues here.  I fail to see the big deal out of this.
