You may want to look at the block diagrams for some answers to your questions:

shows the OMAP5430 and 5432 uses Imagination Technologies SGX544MPx.

It seems M-Shield entails multiple technologies, and one of them is ARM Trustzone Hardware Support, another one is Secure Middleware ARM Trustzone Software Compatible. Please look at the white paper:
