I downloaded the .MTS files and put them on an SD card, but my new Panasonic VIERA TV won’t recognise them, although it’s supposed to. It doesn’t acknowledge that the files are there at all. I did rename the files, but kept the .MTS extension. Should that make a difference? Or is there a specific folder structure that must be maintained? Also my TV is PAL, but I figured it should at least acknowledge the presence of the video files, even if it fails when I try to play them. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rob.
