The mirroring that the Cortex A8’s currently do doesn’t seem useful for me. Ideally I’d like to be able to connect an ARM device (ie cellphone or 5-10″ tablet) to a large screen and either use the ARM device’s touch screen as a keyboard & mouse, or connect a real keyboard & mouse to it and have a true Multi-Monitor configuration. Basically if it could do this well, and have good configuration options for those various usage scenarios, I could use an ARM device as my primary computing platform.

Currently I’m using the Google Chrome CR-48 netbook, and it’s single core Atom CPU does everything I need it to do except for video transcoding. I think a dual core A9 should put me somewhere in the same performance range.
