So that would make 2 x i.MX514 (or 516) in a single car, one for the dashboard, and one for the IVI, nice for Freescale 🙂
It is in the 10-years product longevity program

I think it's i.MX51, see my video from the FTF with the 12" wide screen instrument cluster powered by i:MX51 done by TAT: http://138.2.152.197/2010/06/24/freescale-automotive-3-levels-of-instrument-cluster-solutions I think Freescale announced i.MX51 be in this 10-year support programme thing.

I understand the i.MX51 for the IVI part, but not for the dashboard. And the i.MX51 integrates a one and only LCD controller.
Is the dashboard based on a Coldfire microcontroller or something like that?
