It accentuates what you would do anyway. If you want to be a loner, you can be more alone. If you want to connect, it makes it easier to connect.

My questions to the ARM reps:

. What do they anticipate the rate of tablet adoption in 2011 to be, going from the orders placed by their customers?

. Aside from Android tablets, do they foresee any significant impact for MeeGo or WebOS?

. From their customers’ orders for next year, what will be the low-end, the mid-range, and the high-end for MID/tablets in 2011? Both in terms of configuration and pricing?

. Do they foresee any demand for ARM products from Microsoft for its own MID/tablet initiative, or do they think MS will stay with the Intel Z6xx?

. Aside from CPU performance, what other integration enhancement (graphics, peripheral support, etc) can we expect for the 2011 ARM processors?

. What is their strategy in competing with the Intel Z6xx?

Much appreciate it if you can run some of these past the ARM reps. Thanks again.

Find that CPT netbook, a PixelQi killer. Talk CPT people into a taking it outside, and do the video of it under the sun. This one should be a smash hit, so don’t let your hands tremble, lol.
2. Apart from Samsung, are there any chip/platform manufacturers who are preparing their Cortex-A15 variants? TI? What’s the next (after OMAP 4430) TI SoC?
3. If you can, try to prepare a flash USB stick of your own and put some hi-rate, high profile H.264/AVC clips on it and observe who’s talking trash, and who’s meaning the real deal (Samsung, Freescale, TI, Marvell?)

Thanks.

They seem to be on the verge of launching for 12month now.
Any news about Chrome OS would be really interesting…

– Why did they go from Cortex-A9 to Cortex-A15 and not Cortex-A10 (they did go from A8 to A9…)
– How do they consider the Intel “threat” (embedded Atom solutions + Meego development) on the mobile market?

If there are some Microsoft guys :
– Will they one day use their ARM license, and if so how?

thats about it for now 🙂
