It runs Windows CE for now, but they are working on an Android version as well.
It has both a 6" e-ink screen and a 3.5" capacitative touch screen LCD that runs Android. So the Android screen is thus able to do all kinds of advanced things and interact with contents to send over the the e-ink screen.

Hivision which I filmed in my very popular video from IFA 2008 have worked very hard to port Android to their latest ARM9 500mhz 7" mini Laptops. They offer an extremely impressive fast and Android integration, with a surprisingly fast Android web browser over WIFi and Ethernet. But this one runs a customized Android user interface for the Chinese market instead of running the full Google Experience. It should be sold at below $300 unlocked in China when it is released.
