Advanced Graphene Products: Graphene Revolution using Liquid Metal

Posted by Charbax – September 29, 2015

Professor Piotr Kula from Advanced Graphene Products (AGP) and the Lodz University of Technology being interviewed by Thomas Keenan (IDTechEx) at Graphene & 2D Materials Europe . The company, using a production method created by the Institute of Materials Science and Engineering (Technical University Lodz) has developed an unique, extremely efficient graphene production process. Graphene is now grown on liquid metal. AGP says that this is an edge of a revolution. This new technology shifts graphene production to an industrial level. It is now possible to manufacture large, high quality graphene sheets for a reasonable price. Using liquid metal also results in superior qualities never seen before. Sinterit 3D Printer using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

Posted by Charbax – September 21, 2015

Konrad Glowacki and Pawel Szczurek from Sinterit at "3D Printing Europe", part of the IDTechEx Show! Sinterit is a start-up that are building a 3D printer that uses SLS (Selective Laser Sintering), shipping units from December 2015. SLS stands for Selective Laser Sintering: this means spreading layers of nylon 12 powder and sinter nylon particles together using a laser. The technology Sinterit uses is the next step in 3D printing as it makes possible to print objects that were difficult or impossible to be printed with the Fused Deposition Modeling technique. SilverCon Nano Silver Power and Pastes shown at Printed Electronics Europe

Posted by Charbax – September 21, 2015

Helioenergia showing their SilverCon nano silver powder and pastes for printed electronics, that can be applied by screen-printing, off-set or stamp. Helioenergia is a Polish company, which is a manufacturer of SilverCon paste. Helioenergia mainly focus on the technology of conducting paste, based on silver nanoparticles. SilverCon pastes and inks characterize in low cure temperature, elevated level of elecrtic and thermal conduction. They have also achieved film-thickness of 0.5-5µm. Those advantages allow variety of appliance of paste and inks in procuring layers in printed electronics and in very sensitive elastic electronics (foils and plastics).
