Applied Graphene Materials interview at IDTechEx Graphene event

Posted by Charbax – May 15, 2015

IDTechEx interview Applied Graphene Materials (AGM) at the IDTechEx Graphene & 2D Materials event in Berlin. AGM has developed and patented a proprietary "bottom up" process for the production of high-specification graphene. AGM claims that its process is continuous and scalable, produces high-quality graphene powders, does not require a substrate and uses sustainable and readily available raw materials (not from graphite), AGM's production capacity has been expanded to support large volume graphene applications. AGM also has expertise to disperse graphene in a variety of solid matrices and solutions to deliver advanced materials optimised for many applications, including polymer composites, paints and coatings, thermal management, lubricants and functional fluids, barriers and films, supercapacitors and batteries. NanoXplore and Graphene – interview at IDTechEx event

Posted by Charbax – April 25, 2015

Group NanoXplore specialises in the science of graphene and its derivative materials. Its proprietary production process produces low-cost, pristine graphene from graphite flake, while maintaining the large flake value (application versatility, thermal and electrical conductance, anti-corrosion capabilities). Environmentally friendly (energy efficient, no strong acids used or noxious gases released), the process solves typical production challenges (e.g., introduction of minimal crystal impurities) and is scalable to metric tonnes per month with very modest capital and operating costs. NanoXplore partners with its customers to integrate graphene into their products and processes, providing them with innovative products and a strong competitive advantage. Introducing the world’s largest emerging technology show by IDTechEx

Posted by Charbax – November 24, 2014

Nearly 3000 technology industry audiences and about 200 exhibitors convened at the Santa Clara convention center in silicon valley for the world’s largest emerging technology show hosted by IDTechEx, the leader in emerging technology research, consulting and events. The 2014 event featured Printed, Organic and Flexible Electronics, Wearable Technology, Graphene, Internet of Things, Super Capacitors, 3D Printing, Energy Harvesting and Storage among the topics at the conference and trade show. The event attracted attendees from 38 countries, featured over 215 presentations, over a dozen masterclasses taught by IDTechEx analysts and industry experts as well as networking events. The show floor also featured a Demonstration Street that showcased state of the art products and technologies from 45 companies, the Manufacturing Street showed products, processes and manufacturing equipment and offered attendees the opportunity to immerse themselves into the world of emerging technologies, to learn and conduct business. Mr Vijay Ullal, semiconductor industry leader, formerly President and COO of Fairchild Semiconductor and former Group President of Maxim Integrated, together with IDTechEx Chairman Dr. Peter Harrop, inaugurated the show and welcomed the attendees. Dr. Khasha Gaffarzadeh, head of consulting at IDTechEx takes us on a tour of the show floor.

IDTechEx is the leader in emerging technology research, intelligence, consulting and events such as this one that just concluded in Santa Clara, California. For additional information please reach them via http://www.idtechex.com
