Factory tour showing testing process and SMT line of the Colorii Thunderbolt3 Type C HUB. Colorii’s testing process confirms every hub must work perfectly doing a total of 8 different test for each unit separating the testing of video, data and charging:
1st test is testing the PCBA with power consumption, to check if the PCBA is short circuited. 2nd test they flash the firmware into the hub, at this time they can also check whether the PCBA work correctly. 3rd test is testing the data function of each port, including 1*Thunderbolt3, 1*USB Type C port, 2*USB3.0 A port, 1*SD card, 1*micro SD card port. 4th test is testing the video out function, checking the HDMI out is working correctly. 5th test is testing the charging function is working correctly. Then after assembly, the finished products are tested again to check data transfer, video and charging function again. 6th test is testing the data function of each port, including 1*Thunderbolt3, 1*USB Type C port, 2*USB3.0 A port, 1*SD card, 1*micro SD card port. 7th test is testing the video out function, checking the HDMI out is working correctly. 8th test is testing the charging function is working correctly.
