    Most sensor system codes in Intels OpenCV codec which is under Open Source license.

    But The Khronos group is now developing a new Computer Vision codec which have the working name CV HAL for CV=Computer Vision and HAL=Hardware Abstraction Layer. 

    So, in some years ahead we will have 2 different types of CV codecs under Open Source license.
