Hi Charbax!

Do you think you can try and find this:

Apad A910

* Android 2.2 operation system.
* Amlogic ARM cortex A9 800MHz CPU.
* Mali-400 GPU, perfectly support 3D UI and 3D games.
* 512MB Memory 4GB NAND.
* WIFI and bluetooth function.
* FM radio function.
* 1.3MP camera.
* 10.1 inches capacitive touch screen, 1024×600 resolution(16:9).

Available online for US§230
Sounds almost too good to be true, so would love to see it in action first.
Would be great if you could find about about the weight and battery life as well, and give your opinion on build and screen quality...

Thanks

Hi Nicholas,

Great to hear you're in GuangDong district now! For all I know, it's "the largest factory" of the world.
It's hard to find out about exhibitors at ICEF, but I'm interested in CEDA; I can't find an exhibitor list.

http://www.icef.com.cn/spring_eng/news/110307.shtm

Maybe you can find out how CEDA will held distribute all those cool cheap Chinese gadgets to the Western market? Because currently, I think many consumers from the West (like myself) want or at least have interest in cheap Chinese gadgets, but we don't know where to buy them, guarantee is an issue and so is support / manuals in languages we understand.

The CEDA-announcement above gave me the idea CEDA wants to improve on this, maybe you can interview someone and ask them about this?

Any chance of finding someone from NuFront? Last time you interviewed them, they announced 1Watt Cortex-A9 SoC's (their prototype was 2W), and I'm pretty sure they're a Microsoft-partner. Also, I hope Chungwa is there too, as they're the ones building PixelQi-screens.

Looked at the HKTDC list, but there's so many exhibitors I don't know where to start. I guess the best idea is to just 'surf' the fair and look what's interesting, because that way you meet 'new' cool manufacturers we didn't know about before!

Have a great time over there, and thanks for sharing.
