I think it's expensive if you don´t go to the press registration area (left of the main entrance) show them your blog/press business card and then they let you in for free.

I have a random question.....

I live in Barcelona and I want to go the the MWC, but I haven't seen any information how to assist as a visitor, I only saw the passes for press and companies. Can you see were I'm going? Any one knows how much is the entry fee? Thanks!

If I go I'll be looking for ARMDevides Staff ;)

ooh i thought you dev'ed a little , if not, then you will need a binary of the checkasm, perhaps the efika lad's or whoever has an arm box can make you one and put it on a usb stick.

then you OC need to get the permission to run that checkasm –bench and write the results back to you're USB stick for later publication etc...

but its only a thought to get some real results and compare later, so perhaps not for you if you dont
get the chance or takes to long to get they to agree etc, worth asking though for any quad 1 gig hz results as they dont exist yet :D

I'll try to ask the ARM people about Mali source code and status, it's going to be awesome to see the performance of Mali-400 in Samsung's Exynos in Galaxy S2 and Tab2, looking forward to test the performance of that.

So you mean that if I see some ARM Powered linux device I should go in the terminal and simply type exactly this:

make checkasm;./checkasm
checkasm –bench

and take a picture or film what is on the resulting screen? What kind of screen shot can I expect from that? Do you have a sample of what it might look like and what kind of results I should look for?

I don't know how much of the ARM Powered laptops there will be, I hope some, but maybe a lot of the industry for some reason are mostly focusing on tablets right now.

ooh as an extra consideration if you get the chance Charbax with so many ARM devices around running linux

if you get and compile the current x264 from git
and do a simple
make checkasm;./checkasm
checkasm –bench

you will get a lot of bench marks for all the C and assembly routines

i ask as its the only real life benchmark that matters really and will show You if things have improved on ARM cortex, plus OC i cant seem to find any ARM checkasm –bench pastebin results on the web to date
